Home › Forums › Baccarat Public › My results playing MvD
I finished applying MvD to all the shoes that I played in 2015 & 2016. I waited until a paper bet was won before I bet actual money. I played to a 4 unit stop/loss, but many of the lost shoes were only 1 or 2 unit losses, because I do not play very long, Consequently, some of those smaller losses would have been overcome if I had played longer. Anyway, I am happy with the results. I tried to be as liberal as I could be. I wanted to see the worst case scenario. I was surprised to find that the results were VERY close.
Here are the combined totals:
Shoes won or tied = 131 of 175 = 74.85%
Bets Won/Lost = Won 1150 of 1980 bets = a win percent of 58.08 (before Banker commission)
Units Won/Lost Won 402 Lost 96 = + 306 units
I never played Anti MvD.
I also when I lost 2 hands in a row I paper bet and when I won a bet I got back on playing.

So MvD is moving away from the “bet every hand” approach. Interesting…
I see no issue with playing every hand with the progression as long as you have the bankroll and your stoploss. You won’t win every shoe. There are advantages to both and Ellis is correct, you must find your comfort level.
